Piper - Can't Wait (1977)

At first glance, I did a virtual eye roll..wait... Piper, this looks and sounds familiar, oh yeah, Billy Squier was in Piper. I did not know what to expect... The first two tracks were good but  nothing special. The third track "See Me Through", had a much better song structure. Ah Track 4, Little Miss Intent, .. this one rocks. Okay, Last track on side 1....no thanks....not for me. First track on side two, Bad Boy gets back to the rock and the roll, decent song. The next track...Woah, what's this? Love it! The third track on side Two, Anyday, yikes...didn't care for it. The final track, Blues For The Common Man is okay, seems a bit stripped down poorly produced, but the harmonies are awesome. All in all, you can pick out Billy's voice and there is some great guitar work on here.
