I found this out well after the singer from Boston's death...but...After Boston, the lead guitaist had a solo release which featured some songs sung by the late, great Brad Delp. It didn't get much success. Some of the songs, sound like they came right off A Boston album. Some don't, but they are good nonetheless. So if you haven't heard it, give it a listen.
