Joan Jett posters lined my wall when I was growing up, so instantly I went out and bought all the Runaways LPs too. I started to notice that I was trending towards Female Fronted bands. Blondie, Kim Wilde, Pat Benatar, Heart, Plasmatics, Pretenders, Motels, Waitresses, Romeo Void, you get it... So I remember listening to this and before putting the needle down, I notice Eight Days A Week, and went right to that track since it was a song I was familiar with. Hmmmm, is my belt slipping or my turntable dying, or perhaps it set to a lower speed. Nope that is Joan vocal tone. I do wish they used to original tempo.
