The Rockets - No Ballads (1980)

From the band name I was expecting either a Power Pop or New Wave band, but these guys are rockers. Musically, there is a little country flavor now and then but it's acceptable. The vocals are by no means polished and as raw as the music, so it fits. Listening to this it reminds me a little of Lynyrd Skynyrd meets CCR with a little touch of Ted Nugent.
