Earth, Wind & Fire - All 'N All (1977)

MEMORY
Again, I would hear their songs on the radio, and didn't think they were all that.
another band that I didn't appreciate until I got older. Lot's of great song writing and musicianship.
I can remember the ending falsetto. A-Mazing! There was a lot of EW&F at WSU.

Steve Forbert - Alive on Arrival (1978)

MEMORY
Normally, stuff like this isn't for me. A little too bluesy. But this was on a CBS double LP compilation that I sent away for. Heck when it came in the mail, it was like wining a contest. FREE MUSIC! It's the first time I accepted the concept of a mulit-genre music repertoire. I remember the break in the song, where I thought it was over, but no...fake out...

Kiss - Alive II (1977)

MEMORY
There aren't too many band that have listenable Live albums, but KISS was able to do it twice. What made this unique and was sheer genius was that one side was not live, so the only way you could get it, is to buy the album. A KISS album was just like a cereal box, prizes in side. This one had a booklet
   "The Evolution of KISS"
AND
Temporary Tattoos
In shop class, I made a box made of sheet metal. I spray painted metallic gold, and put the temporary tats on that. I wonder what ever happened to that, I may still have it...
On the non-live side there were 5 new songs. New KISS...hell yeah. I remember the first song and how it had an ending like it was a live song.... loved it...

Mickey Thomas - Alive Alone (1981)

DISCOVERED
I didn't know what to expect, I knew it was the singer from Elvin Bishop's Fooled Around and Fell in Love, and Starship, but by the title I expected a live album, it's not. So pleasant surprise. I found this Cream Cover song and was again pleasantly surprised.
